It was a fantastic debut for her career and led to bigger roles in films such as Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. It was American Pie the cult movie featuring sexually explicit teens that put Reid in the spotlight as a promising actress on the horizon in Hollywood due to her character as virgin Vicky. It was not the most successful Hollywood life. Reid did not do well in films like Josie and the Pussycats. She was not able to make a comeback despite her short role on the film American Pie 2. Reid is known as a celebrity party-goer, designer and a designer rather than an actual actor. her offscreen flimsies and publicized cosmetic surgery resulted in her becoming a less-than-famous actress.
