Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born on 17 October 1992) is a popular Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil films and Telugu films, along with a handful of Malayalam. She won the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her role as actress Savitri. The actress also won three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents are filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. She started her acting career in the mid 2000s. Her first main role as a lead in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began her first Malayalam projects, and then began working in Tamil at the same time. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015, opposite Vikram Prbhu. The film was not a success at the box-office. To fit in more ambitious projects, she needed to pull out of films she had already begun working on. These comprised Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. For a short period of time she collaborated together with Sivakarthikeyan on Rajini Murugan, Remo and also played the lead on Prabhu Sool's Thodari along with Dhanush. The film that she played in was her Telugu debut had been scheduled to be titled Ainaa Ishtam nuvvu. Though the release date for Janakitho Nenu has not been set, reports suggest that it may be sometime in September of 2020. Nenu Sailaja (2016), which featured Ram Pothineni as the actor was Keerthy's debut. Keerthy was first seen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) alongside actor Vijay.
