Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston (born 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey) is the child of gospel superstar Cissy Houston. As a young girl, Houston began singing professionally at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark alongside her mom in Chaka K's Im Every Woman in 1978. She then went on to perform backing vocals for Jermaine, Lou Rawls, as well as her mom. She began working as a featured vocalist for the funk group from New York, Material as well. It was her high quality of her vocal work together that drew the attention of several major record labels including Arista with whom she signed in 1983, and with whom she would remain for the remainder the duration of her career. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney that included hits The Place Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built the foundation of her popularity, however it was her 1992 movie The Bodyguard (1992) that sealed her place as one of the best-selling artists in history. The film and her part as a character was not well received, but the music and her interpretation of the song by Dolly Parton I Will Always Love You were charted for months at the top of the charts. In all, she sold over 44 million singles and albums worldwide. In 1993, it was also when she got married Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition artist with whom she bore her sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. In the same year, her drug abuse became well documented and she was able to use it regularly in 1996.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchor of a reporter as well as political reporter for CNN. Her Saturday shows are Evans & Novak Late Edition, Inside Politics and Inside Politics. She worked in the past on NBC, CBS and other prominent channels. Coming to her awards and honors Bash was previously included in the Women in Washington Power List published by Elle magazine. Her incredible anchoring/reporting talents have been lauded and acknowledged by numerous journalists. In her personal life the graduate from George Washington University is a loving mother to her sole son. She's been married twice. She's currently unmarried. Bash is an independent, strong woman. She loves her fans.
